| Dear Friends, I am wondering if there is a tool to screen reagents for their abilities to alter epigenetics (e.g. DNA methylation). Do you think a fully methylated promoter driving a reporter gene would (partially) fit this role? i.e. the reporter won't express if the testing compound does not induce promoter hypomethylation; expression increased when compound cause hypomethylation on the promoter. All comments and ideas are welcome! Thank you! |
