If the container is open to the atmosphere and pressure 20 meters on ocean surface is increasing pressure to be included if it is to find the total pressure of the object. Total pressure is the same absolute indication of the pressure gauge and the corresponding pressure is the same as the liquid pressure alone, not including atmospheric pressure.

Hi there,

It is 1 atmosphere for every 10 meters depth.
So at 10 meters it will be 2 atmospheres, for 20 meters it will be 3 atmospheres.

3 atm=303,975 Pascals=3.03975 bar=1.0336 Tech.Atm=2280 torr= 44.088 psi
