I have a question for you scientist friends: Did the life on the earth finished after whatever disaster extincted dinosaurs? No. So how people dare to say earth's life would end with humanity. Pure stupidity and selfishness. Life in earth will continue regardless what happens with humans. Yeah, there will be massive species extinction, but in the end life will prevail, in whatever form it does; and we won't be there to witness it.

Very melodramatic. You might as well ask what woud happen if the huge asteroids hit the earth. Few actually predict the worst scenario - other than Al Gore. In any case, there's little to nothing we can do about it so don't worry.

Humans have adapted to changing environments and environmental extremes well enough. In the worst case, specific populations would suffer.
