| An object will float if it is less dense than the medium it is in: Helium baloons float in air because they are less dense. The Dead Sea is very salty, and all this salt makes the water very dense, as a result you float easier in the Dead Sea than other, less saltier waters. |

| i can't explain exactly, but thing is that the dead sea is very salty... so its density is very high coz of this high density, it can support a person's weight(or something like that, can't remember)...but this is the reason definitely |
