Default New ELISA user, some basic protocols required, please help!

Hello all,
I am new to performing ELISA assays and would really appreciate any help that people can provide. I usually work with DNA so not used to protein work. My PI wants me to see what bacteria from a mixed population binds to a specific protein via ELISA. He also mentioned that we will need to see what bacteria binds then subsequently via sequencing. I presume this is a case of boiling off the bacteria and lysing once bound to the protein on the plate? What I was wondering is if there is anyone who has a basic ELISA protocol that I could follow please? I know that this is basic stuff but it is daunting when you are not at all familiar with the area! Apologies for my ignorance, but any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance
