| I'm doing ELISA additional to RT-qPCR. I'm interested in relation between change in protein expression level to protein quantity increase. For ELISA I got to determine the relative protein change after cell stimuli. So I need a reference. Is it better to use complete cell protein as reference object, or can I use protein amount measured by ELISA from starved medium from cells (bevore stimuli addition) ? Thanks for helping me.
