| Hi all, We have received a sample of brown particles that we are trying to identify but are coming up blank. Infra-red analysis of the particles shows that they are cellulosic, but they are not seeds or pollen grains. They are approximately 0.5 x 0.4mm and have 6 sides. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks |

| Very hard to say anything without knowing more about your sample. - origin? - size? (I can't distinguish the bar in the pic) - Do they have a homogenous size and shape? - What do you want to know? What information do you need? BTW to know if its cellulose you just have to make a lugol reaction. |
