| Hi, I am looking for the candidate genes which knockouts in Drosophila adult stage would lead to the easily detectable phenotypes (like, affected locomotion or any other etc). Ideally, these should be evolutionary conserved genes with the possibility of identifying their homologs in other insect species. I am trying to establish RNAi method on a new insect model and would like to find a target gene that will give me an easy-to-score phenotype when silenced. I would really appreciate any thoughts !!! Thanks in advance ! |
