change in the body color in drosophila
 

I am kind of new to Drosophila filed and I have an stock to take care of. I have realized that in all of strains I have, some of flies shows changes in the body color (I can say they are fade, white, pale). Even in males you can see the black part of abdomen is very faint. Anyone had any idea what is happening there.
