| Hi, I'm new to the drosophila field and are currently struggling to get a good protocol to separate drosophila heads into cytoplasmic and nuclear fractions for analysis by western blotting. The protocol that I got was working on mouse tissue but the separation does not work very good for drosophila heads in my hands. Anybody out there who has a good protocol (sample homogenization, buffers, centrifugation steps and antibodies used to confirm separation) and is willing to help me on this issue? Thanks a lot in advance for your help! Cheers, Gernot |
