Transgenic RNAi Project (TRiP) Accepting Gene Nominations Is your favorite fly gene an unknown? Not represented by an allele at Bloomington? Mutations lead to pleiotropic defects that prevent study in your tissue of interest? Would otherwise benefit from a robust, inducible transgenic RNAi hairpin approach? The NIH-funded Transgenic RNAi Project (TRiP) at Harvard Medical School is accepting community nominations. Based on these gene nominations and other criteria (including input from Bloomington), the TRiP will decide for what genes they will generate hairpin constructs and corresponding transgenic flies. To learn more about the TRiP and to make nominations, please visit the "Nominations" section of the TRiP webpages (within the Drosophila RNAi Screening Center's website) at [Only registered and activated users can see links.
