| What's the convention for denoting the insertion site of a P element? Given that insertion creates an 8-bp duplication: A B C D E F G H [31-bp repeat] . . . . [31-bp repeat] A B C D E F G H does one say that the insertion is at position A? position H? Elsewhere? Thanks for any pointers -- I'm sure this is described online, but Google hasn't been a great help. Chris Jones |
