 Hey im doing a science fair experiment for my school and need help(its on dna) i need to know how to extract dna from blood. i have been reasearching for a whil,but im confused!!!!  pleasehelp!!!!  |

Well depending on how you want to approach it and what materials you have we can help you! What will be your source of blood? If you buy from a supermarket, you can easily extract DNA from the blood using ethanol (70% and 100% solutions). You need a salt solution as well and a way to mix and collect the DNA (using a spool). We can provide you with more information if you can tell us what materials you have at hand. Can you use lab equipment or is this purely from home? Cheers!  |
