Sequencing length maximum in capillary sequencing
 

Hello,

I am trying to sequence a quite long amplicon. I am asking if some of you have experience in sequencing long amplicons. I designed primers for an amplicon that is 1200 bp long. Is that too long?

1200 bp is not that long, i used to amplify 1400 bp products, it works very well, it just depends on your primer sensitivity,
