 DNA sequencing help I am trying to perform sequencing on ABI 3130 sequencing using Bigdye v3.1. I want to do Ethanol/EDTA precipitation. The protocol says "...add EDTA to each well, make sure EDTA reach the botton of well/tube, then add ethanol and invert to mix..." Is it possible to first add EDTA to ethanol and then add the master mix each well? What is wrong with adding EDTA and ethanol at the same time? Your response will be very much appreciated. Thank you.  |
