| Describe the main function of each of the following solutions used in plasmid DNA isolation (i) Resuspension buffer (ii) Lysis buffer containing a detergent (iii) Neutrlization buffer with an acid component (iv) Chloroform What size and copy number would be most ideal for a plasmid to be a useful cloning vector? Besides alkaline denaturation, name one other approach which can be used to isolate plasmid DNA from E coli. Is using E Coli based plasmid vector to express a human gene in E coli ideal? Explain. Please help!! |
