What is the best way to create site directed mutagensis, if someone read some article that is related to site directed mutagensis, then please give the link on the forum.

Dear Aftab,

this is very important for many labs...

Site directed Mutagenesis can be accomplished by many methods depending on your wanted outcome

1) if you are just screening for mutations over a large area, you can use error prone PCR to do this

2) if you want to make specific mutations you can use also use PCR primers if your mutation is near the end of the area to amplify

3) You can also use a kit such as QuikChange Site-Directed Mutagenesis Kit
from Stratagene...the kits are very easy to use
