 How are plasmid vectors useful in cloning DNA fragments? what components of plasmid vectors are useful in cloning and how are they useful?  |

| Re: How are plasmid vectors useful in cloning DNA fragments? the selection marker definitely is useful. useful in growing large amounts of bacteria in amplifying your product, but also useful when you want to use the clones for transfection and thus selection in your cultures. |

| Re: How are plasmid vectors useful in cloning DNA fragments? some help to add tags to your protein, such as GFP or YFP. makes it way easier to track the proteins, pull down, and even western blot. |
