| How do I get the DNA molecular weights (kb) of the bands from my gel using the DNA ladder? We're given the sizes of the DNA ladder fragments and it says: Use the pictures of the known sizes of DNA molecular weight marker fragments and find the fragments on your gel. Write these sizes in (kbp) beside the bands you sketched for your ladder. Then it says to graph distance travelled by size of corresponding fragments. i understand the distance travelled but how do you get the size of corresponding fragments? this makes no sense somebody help |
