| DNA is negatively charged....Fragments of DNA are put intoholes on one side of the agarose gel and a charge is put through the gel. The DNA is pulled toward the positive side of the charge on the opposite side and depending on how big the fragments are, they will move toward it. The smallest fragments will move furthest, fastest |
