Estimating Concentration Hello, This might be a dumb question, but I'm trying to teach myself all of this. Is there a different way in determining the estimated concentration when using Cts versus RFUs? Currently, I am determining the concentration of a sample, using Cts, by getting the difference between the Ct and the y-intercept, and then dividing that by the slope of the standard curve. Could I use this same formula to determine the concentration, using RFUs? All of the data for the standard curve is also in RFUs. Thanks, Bob |

Re: Estimating Concentration I think I found an answer to my own question. Since both data analysis methods use the a regression line due to the concentrations and the samples being linearly correlated; I use the slope and intercept to back calculate the concentration from both CT and RFU values. Is this correct? |
