Default clonesaver card for storing plasmids

Hello,

I was just wondering if anyone has used the whatman clonesaver cards to store plasmids.

If so what was the min concentration of your plasmids in ng/uL?

When you transformed
Did you use heat shock or electroporation? and what is your recommendation.

Yep, they work like a dream.

No idea. We usually spot from maxi-preps; 10ul of 0.5-1.5mg/ml DNA. I'm sure smaller amounts would work just as well.

Heat-shock, and it works fine. Electroporation would work as well.
