Default DNA isolation from mouse tails and PCR genotyping

I am thinking about testing the Finnzymes Direct PCR protocol for genotyping mice. The protocol is as follows:

In short, Finnzymes claims to be able to PCR genotype mouse tails directly (the tail is in the PCR assay) thanks to their DNARelease additive.

Has anybody had any experience with this?

Cheers,

Ivan
