 DNA isolation from mouse tails and PCR genotyping I am thinking about testing the Finnzymes Direct PCR protocol for genotyping mice. The protocol is as follows: [Only registered users see links. ] In short, Finnzymes claims to be able to PCR genotype mouse tails directly (the tail is in the PCR assay) thanks to their DNARelease additive.
