Upper and lower DNA strands?

Hi,
I know about the sense and anti-sense strands of DNA,tell me about the upper and lower strands of DNA, which strand is upper and which is lower one, how we can differentiate between the two and on what bases we call them as upper and lower strands.

Hello Malik,

this question I believe pertains to upper and lowercase being a standard depending if they are sense or anti-sense strands for transcription by RNA polymerase.
