 Re: Do All Living Organisms Have DNA? well, all living organism have nucleic acid but it could be RNA instead of DNA as in case of some viruses, RNA is the gentic material rather DNA. Regards aftab        |

| Re: Do All Living Organisms Have DNA? well the simplest defination of living organism that is given by biologist is the body is living if it contain nucleic acid, can grow and produce its progeny. prions are proteins that can make their copies but they dont contain nucleic acid, so they are not living. even there is contradiction on viruses, whether they are living or not. some says they are living and other give evidences that they are not living....... may be in future we have to change the definition of living organism..... regards aftab |
