| I understand what a DNA fingerprint is used for such as indentification, but my question "how" is it that the fingerprints appear in a contoured - curvy - form? |

The fingerprint in this activity is created by [Only registered users see links. ], and is visualized as a pattern of different sized bands (not curvy)... Are you talking about DNA sequencing (where you can get traces that look like this?) ![]() Or [Only registered users see links. ], which are not DNA-dependent (even identical twins have different fingerprints)? |
