I understand what a DNA fingerprint is used for such as indentification, but my question "how" is it that the fingerprints appear in a contoured - curvy - form?

Are you talking about DNA sequencing (where you can get traces that look like this?)
Or [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...], which are not DNA-dependent (even identical twins have different fingerprints)?
