 Didn't I just hear of DNA testing they can do to determine what breed(s) your dog is? Is this possible? I have a mixed dog I bought from a farm and I'm sure it's part Beagle, but no one knows what breeds the mother is, nor do they even know what the father was. I'm just interested to know for breed characteristics.  |

| Yes, there is DNA testing that you can do to determine the breed of your dog. I think I heard that it costs about $50. |

| There has been a test developed, but it has not been found to be very accurate (lets face it, if you have somewhat of an idea of what the dog is but do not know for sure how do you know if the lab is even running the test and not just guessing). It is also really expensive. |
