if you are wanting to work in dna fingerprinting or any other kind of chemical testing, you want to focus on the science. take plenty of genetics classes. you could major in either chemistry or biology. and just so you know, it does not work like it does on television. the actual process is very long and drawn out and it can take between 6 and 8 weeks before you have any sort of solid results.
