Didn't the discovery of DNA in the fifties kind of

settle the evolution debate anyway? Come on now, the evidence IS overwhelming.

Why do the opponents of evolution keep clutching at straws?

Hey guys............it's obvious.

Whether they like it or not, it's been proved beyond doubt.

Yes, that's right, beyond doubt!

I actually read an answer on here once that god designed DNA that way, and it had to have been god or they wouldn't all be unique!

Forgot to say that I thought that was hilarious at the time. Can't believe that the person was serious.

beyond a doubt, yet half of the population doubts it. Interesting

You would think that the Apollo missions would have ended belief in cities in the sky and angels, but silly people can't think clearly so they continue to believe.

I agree it's been proven. That's why the religous people out in the world changed there story from there being no evolution to god making the changes himself as he saw fit. He changed creatures over time. Now that doesn't work with any of there teachings but they still believe it.

And when ever religion is wrong and they are proven wrong they change there story so how can they ever be right. What are we goin to prove wrong they believe in next. No Afterlife... then if there is no afterlife then why believe.

We already have proven the world was round and not flat. We prove the world revolves around the sun, not the other way around. We have enough to show that evolution is a fact as well as a theory which means they it explains how it works.

Anyone who disagrees is still holding on to the old ways of believing in storyies that were made up by crazy old men that wanted a little power in there life.

The structure of DNA is one of the strongest evidences FOR God I have ever seen. The chirality required to build DNA makes non intelligent design impossible. In order for DNA evolution to work, billions of molecules within our body would have to be generated with the "R" configuration all at the same time, without error. If it is impossible for one nucleotide to be formed with chirality, how much less likely would it be for billions of nucleotides to come together exactly at the same time, and all of them be formed with the same chirality? Chirality is not just a major problem for evolution; it is a dilemma. According to evolution, natural processes must explain everything over long periods of time. However, the process that forms chirality cannot be explained by natural science in any amount of time. As per Dr. Charles McCombs is a Ph.D. Organic Chemist

I think the understanding of evolution is built on a great deal of accumulated evidence and genetics is one of the cornerstones.

Somehow that understanding doesn?t affect my relationship with God at all.

ARE YOU KIDDING?
We still don't know how the evolution from non-flowering plants to flowering plants happened. And the missing links in human evolution? Come on...millions of fossils of all types of living things instead of the ones linking them together.....you must be joking.
I don't beleive in a supernatural cause, but certainly extraterrestrials.

You are partially correct. The evidence of a creator is overwhelming. SO much so, that the discoverers of the DNA molecule moved from atheism to a belief in God.
It in amazingly smallminded to prattle on how the THEORY of evolution is proven without a doubt. You are simply taking something you have been indoctrinated in and making uninformed pronouncements with no real evidence to support your preconceptions. You are no better then the supposedly dogmatic people of faith you would presume to lecture here.
SOmething as complex and orderly as the DNA molecule does not happen by magic! There is a designer for every design. I suppose you think of an automobile as a random mineral formation of some kind, or a house as an accidental formation of a pile of wood.
THe evidence for evolution is lacking....pretty much everything. There are no transitional species found, all our supposed pre-human ancestors have turned out not to be so, there are no constructive mutations occurring today, and many of the supposed extinct "primitive" species have been turning up not so extinct, and not so primitive.
You need to think outside the box you have been indoctrinated into, and take an honest look at the evidence for the truth, not what you want to believe. God has NOT gone away, no matter how uncomfortable your high priests of secularism are with Him.
