| Hi All, I'm hoping someone might be able to help me. I am trying to isolate DNA from fresh yeast but keep getting products with really low DNA concentrations (around 25ng/ul). I'm using the NucleoSpin Plant II kit from Macherey-Nagel, which I have used before with other fungi without any trouble. I'm stumped, does anyone have a suggestion? Thanks, Jenn |

| Hi Jspall, Did you used the basic nucleospin plant kit protocol or the second one adapted for fungi? It seems to be a problem with good homogenization of your samples, isn't? How do you performed a homogenization? Adomas |
