 Linearized Vector DNA Purification TAE Agarose Gels Hello research mates, Im trying to isolate a 6kb plasmid vector that is linearized from restriction digestion. The DNA was run on 0.8% TAE low melt agarose for gel purification. Im currently using the GFX PCR DNA Gel Band Purification kit (#27-9034-70) which melts the agarose slice and isolates it in spin columns. I am eluting with autoclaved millipore water 30ul however it seems that i am loosing most (80%+) of my DNA!  is there any better way of purifying this DNA?   |
