Correct Immersion Oil
 
Hiya I am new to the world of confocal microscopy and am currently setting up an in house Nikon rig. I was wondering what would be the correct immersion oil(assuming matching index oil refraction to my 100X and 60X oil immersion objectives) Type DF(discontinued) or type A, or if type A can even be used at all. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

What's critical is the refraction matching between your embedding medium, your slide and cover slips, and your immersion oil. For example, most borosilicate slides and glass cover slips have refraction index of 1.5 just as are the immersion oils. However, most embedding medium have very different refraction index. water embedded solution have a refraction index of 1.5. Electron Microscopy Science have a lot of different embedding media that are specific for different refractive index. I used CFM 1, a PBS-based mounting medium, which has an index very close to 1.5.

Oils are best for every kind of use for your health and also your body massage i am using Oilganic Oil for my body massage whenever i feel pain in my knees or any part of my body i do massage with this oil which is very best and have all the pure and fresh seeds which make this oil quality i would recommend you to also use this oil for your good health
