 what microscopes can be used to observe organisms found in pond water? what type of microscope, besides compound light microscope, might you use to observe the organisms found in pond water?  |

| Dissection or Stereoscope Light Microscopes Uses visible light like the compound ones, but the viewer sees the observed specimen in 3-D. It is used for dissection to get a better look at the larger specimen. You cannot see individual cells because it has a low magnification |
