 Scanning Microscope, Confocal Scanning Microscope and Transmission Electron... ...Microscope? Hi, I wanted to know the difference between a Confocal Scanning Microscope and the Transmission electron microscope. It seems like they both work the same way. Also, why is it called a Confocal SCANNING Microscope even though the way the image is visualized is different than a Scanning Microscope. If there are any recommended books or papers that explain the basics would be greatly appreciated!  |
