1. Where will the light of the microscope come from?
2. What are the diaphragm and mirror for?
3. When do you use the coarse adjustment? The fine adjustment?
4. What happens when the diaphragm is adjusted?
5. How do you compute for the total magnification of an object

1.It depends on what is the type of you are using if you are using the light compound microscope the light comes from a light bulb use the mirror to focus the light on your specimen
2.the diaphragm is a set of holes that regulates the light to be reflected to the specimen. The mirror reflects the light to the eyepiece.
3.course adjust. moves the body tube to focus the image
fine adjust. moves the body tube slightly to sharpen the image.
4.when the diaphragm is adjusted the holes is will change in size.
5.total magnification of the eyepiece multiply by the total magnification of the objective = total magnification
