 Confocal Microscopy: magnification vs. numerical aperture (see below for actual question)? You are studying chromosomes within a cell nucleus but some are close together and difficult to distinguish. Is it appropriate to switch to a higher magnification objective lens that has a lower numerical aperture? (talking about confocal microscopy) Please explain!  |
