| Location & Date: EMBL, Germany, 13 - 17 May 2009 RegistrationEXTENDED REGISTRATION UNTIL 15 FEBRUARY 2009. Event website & Registration: [Only registered users see links. ] Aims Epigenetics is one of the fastest evolving areas of postgenomic biology. The principal aim of this conference series is to present to a broad biomedical community the very cutting edge developments in epigenetics and epigenomics as they occur. Thus every two years the organising team (internationally leading scientists in the main complementary areas of epigenetics) is putting together the most exciting and topical programme of speakers possible. The general themes for the conference series are chromatin regulation and dynamics, signalling to chromatin, nuclear dynamics, developmental epigenetics, epigenomics, epigenetics and human diseases, stem cells and reprogramming, genome stability, environmental epigenetics and transgenerational inheritance. All speakers as listed below have confirmed their attendance. Phil Avner, Institute Pasteur, France Denise Barlow, CeMM Center of Molecular Medicine of the Austrian Academy of Science , Austria Maria Carmo-Fonseca, Instituto de Medicina Molecular, Portugal Sharon Dent, U.T.
