AKTA Explorer 100 Question: Where is this liquid coming from.
 

Hello,
This is my first post here.

I am working with AKTA Explorer 100 and there are these two lines coming from the back and go into a 50 mL conical. The have Syringe fittings. Anyway they are filling up that conical and i was wondering where the fluid is coming from.

Also, I started noticing that my fraction volume is short by about 30%. Are these two issues related?
