 FPLC set up I just inherited an old Pharmacia FPLC --LCC-500, 2 P-500 pumps, MV-7 injection valves, and fraction collector. I need to clean up some peptides via RP so it would be great if I could get it working. Everything turns on and seems OK except I always get error code saying pumps are busy(LCC-500 error codes 6,7). If I hold the run button down, the red light goes on, no error code, but the button will not stay in the run (depressed) position(so I let go and the error and beeping starts again, angering other lab members). I fear I am doing something stupid, or missing a basic feature of the system but really need this. Does anyone have experience with this system and know what might be the problem. Thanks  |
