Halo guys, i am recently working on the extraction of vitamin A in food. The standard preparation have to go through the extraction procedure like the sample prep. The standard solution(retinol palmitate) before go through the extraction has a peak at around 23 min,but for the standard that went through the extraction procedure, the peak no longer appear at 23min, it appear at around 3 min and got other small peaks after 3 min. May i know izit all the Retinol palmitate has already degraded through the process of extraction? It is reversed phase chromatography.
