| Molecular antibodies are known to get purified by cation exchange affinity columns in a capture step, but if the pH of an mAB you have in a sample is more than 5, making it hard to get captured on a cation exchange, how would you go about purification? I know there are several ways. I was thinking of using an anion exchange first for capture of all the high pH then an affinity column to bind your specific mAB. What do you think of using anion exchange as a capture step here? Does anyone have any experience with monoclonal antibody purification? It would be a great help. |
