 Publishing High Impact Papers Hey everyone, what do you think makes a high impact paper? Is it the supervisor? The idea? the quality of work? a Hot topic/area? Or knowing someone in the editorial board  lol?  |

| Re: Publishing High Impact Papers Both quality of the work and idea IMO. Idea is maybe more important. Off course hot topic may be the advantage for some time, but I guess that if the idea is new and brilliant it will be noticed regardless of the topic or area. Obviously idea supported by a good quality of work... |

| Re: Publishing High Impact Papers Totally agree with Aga. Idea on new approach or modified methods that is relevent. But not everyday community can come out with such paper. Hot topic is always advantages. I believe some author target journal when writing paper to get the best of the high impact paper. |
