Default looking for "gel" DNA testing

Hello all. . I am an artist living in NY and have done some abstract paintings based on images of DNA profiles I found on the internet. The images are of verticle "bands" with horizontal stripes. I understand that these images are produced using a "gel" technique. I now have some people interesed in me doing a painting based on their DNA profile. Does anyone know where I can get this done so that I can get an image as described above for these potential clients?. . and also how much it would cost to do this?
Thanks for any help in this area.

The company that I've seen in the news for this is DNA11.

Smile Re: looking for "gel" DNA testing

hey thanks for the info but what I am looking for is a lab or someone that can do the output for me so that I can then do a painting based on it. DNA11 is just tinting the output. I want to do an actual painting with oil paint.
If you go to mathemagic dot org/MOBM/images/rflp.jpg you will see an image of what it is I am looking for
Thanks again

That "rflp" in the address is the name of the molecular assay, it stands for restriction fragment length polymorphism. You may want to search for a local lab that does DNA fingerprints or RFLP analysis. It should be relatively cheap.
