ChIP - How long can crosslinked material be stored?
 

I would like to know once you have crosslinked the material and then it has been frozen in liquid nitrogen, can you store it for a long time in -80ºC? Would resolution decrease?

I think snap frozen material stored at -80c will be stable for a relatively long time. I have stored material like this for several weeks and the ChIP-seq worked nicely

Haring et al (2007) says that crosslinked plant material can be stored for several months at -80°C after freezing in liquid nitrogen.
