 Can someone explain some of these Chemistry problems for me? (vapor pressure)? I just got the feedback for my quiz in Chemistry II and my professor corrected the answers but I haven't had time to ask what I did wrong. Can you help? Best answer goes to either best explanation or most answers explained. question 1: Calculate the pressure at which chloroform, CHCl_3_ will boil at 55 degrees Celsius. The vapor pressure of chloroform is 400 mmHg at 24.1 degrees Celsius, and the heat of vaporization is 30.1 kJ/mole. question 2: Cesium, Cs, packs in a face-centered cubic structure in the solid state with a radius of 265 pm. What are the edge length and density of cesium? question 3: Calculate the Molarity and molality of a solution that is prepared by dissolving 15.0 g of butane, C_4_ H_10_ , in 85.0 g of octane, C_8_ H_18_. The density of this solution is .68 g/mL.  |
