 I need to figure out the chemical structure of the functional group -NCOR, attached to an aryl ring.? Since it's attached to an aryl ring, there can't be a double bond to the N. The closest things I can think of are either an acyl imine or a urethane, but the acyl imine would require a double bond to the N, and the urethane would require a hydrogen added to the N. Any ideas, or anything I'm missing here?  |
