what is the easiest way to make cartap from mono or disultap
i have tried adding sodium thiocyanate in soln at 5 dec to mono sultap
reaction doesnot proceed.i can't heat as cyanate will degrade

You really don't post much in the way of information,
but, assuming that you intend to use the English
alphabet, you start with a "c". Since there is no
"c" in mono- or disultap, you'll have to make it,
using an "o" as starting material. The complete
synthesis is left as an exercise for the student. :-)
