No problem to do that in a room. either, as it only produces a little steam. You can also simply vent it if it gets diluted beyond flamability. Hehe, maybe you can feed it back into the gas pipe :>. If you have larger quantities you can sell the H2, make margarine, LiAlH4, electricity or a lot of other stuff. Assuming you are talking about electrolysis, and you already know that a simple saltwater electrolysis cell makes hydrogen and chlorine gas... not oxygen. The electrochlorinators that make bleach, sodium hydroxide and hydrogen gas cannot afford to put the hydrogen out either. So they dilute it with atmospheric air and vent it somewhere. If the flow switch does not indicate the air is not moving fast enough, the electrochlorinator shuts down. David A. Smith |

what to do with hydrogen gas if unventable? If your making a quantity of a substance that passes your substandards than you should try another method.NaOH is available in a 30% solution and can be extracted with proper methods.I heard of using O-Na=Cl. The -OH will attach to the Na creating NaH20and NaClO2.The water is seperated and reduced to remove the extra oxygen. It is simple Posted Via Usenet.com Premium Usenet Newsgroup Services ---------------------------------------------------------- ** SPEED ** RETENTION ** COMPLETION ** ANONYMITY ** ---------------------------------------------------------- [Only registered and activated users can see links.
