Need photocopies of _old_ reports?

Once you know the bib info (e.g., Gerlach, Annalen
der Physik, 1921 ... Zeitschrift fur Physik, 1924 ...)
even a small local public library can get copies for you.
At least the small libraries I've lived near could get
technical material from the bigger places. Annalen, etc.
are pretty common to most major research libraries. Some
of the librarians appreciate a change from the usual Harry
Potter requests.

I'm not near any reference books at the moment, but I'll
guess that the better physics books have bib info on the
historically significant key papers such as Stern, Gerlach.
